Meet Your Instructor: Johan Vos
I’ve spent over 30 years with a guitar in my hands, moving between the stage, the studio, and the classroom. Music has been the constant thread throughout my life, and my goal is to help you find that same connection with the instrument.
Why I Teach
For me, teaching isn't just about showing you where to put your fingers on the fretboard. It’s about sharing the "language" of music. After three decades of performing live and navigating the technical side of gear and tone, I want to give you the shortcuts I had to learn the hard way.
I teach because there is nothing quite like the moment a complex technique finally clicks or when a student discovers their own unique sound. Whether we are diving into the atmosphere of alternative rock or mastering the basics, I’m here to make sure you don’t just play the guitar—you understand it.
