About Stewart
I am a professional guitarist, gigging regularly and recording/writing music week in, week out. I have a BA(hons) degree in music from Lancaster University.
I'm also a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE from University of Sunderland.
I specialise in Jazz, Rock, Funk, Fusion style lead guitar.

I like to teach in a very practical way. I find learning is always more effective when you're using the techniques, scales and chords in a realistic setting e.g. writing melodies to chord sequences, writing chord sequences and improvising.
I have a relaxed personality but I always make sure progress is made and something new is learned every single lesson.
