About Toby
Music has added so much to my life. Passing the same enjoyment on to others is truly a blessing, I take pride in every lesson!
The internet is flooded with 'guitar hacks', 'game changing concepts' and choices of where to focus your valuable practise time. It can be baffling and really quiet overwhelming! I think the modern guitar teachers job is to guide students through the building blocks of the instrument.
Learning the guitar is easy when you know what to practise and why!
Im a graduate of The Institute of Contemporary Music, London. Playing is countless ensembles and genres over the years I've assembled a kill set that covers most modern genres.
I currently play in an Jazz ensemble, an afro beat band and regularly complete sessions for pop/hip/rnb artists.

Every new student receives a 'goal setting' session. From there I create a plan of action guiding us towards your targets. Moving forward in this way exhibits your progress, its a great way to keep motivated.
Sessions are planned with your playing, learning style and tastes in mind, every lesson plan is unique to you.
Lessons are also delivered with written feedback and a work pack of practise materials for you to work on in between our sessions, gaining further insight on concepts covered in lesson
I have taught students off all ages and skill levels for about 5 years!
I advise 45 min lessons, but can do more of less depending on your learning style!
