About Seth
I have my Bachelors and Masters degree in music performance, and have been performing solo and with others to financially support myself since high-school. I was initially self-taught before studying with jazz and rock guitar players, and now I am highly involved with the classical guitar /finger-style community. Whatever your interests are, I have studied with someone in that style and can help connect you with important resources.

I use my S.C.O.R.E. method as the basis of my teaching. I use strategies that ensure you have good fundamentals so that you feel the positive-reinforcement of “success.” I ask you to be musically “curious,” so that we can study the music that excites or interests you. I emphasize “originality” so that students learn improvisation and composition skills to create their own music. I will work to help students create beneficial “relationships” in the music community, so they can utilize the skills they learn in a professional context. And finally, I model “energy” and excitement about what music can give to your life.
