About Jack
I grew up with crayons and pencils in my hand, surrounded by a family of inventive and enthusiastic engineers who had a "how hard can it be" attitude. When I wasn't drawing or playing, I was being a student of the world around me, often with my nose buried in books, learning about worlds beyond my doorstep. This curiosity led to a lot of dreaming and doodling, and eventually, a Dual Diploma in Creative Arts and a career in covers, comics, and concept art.
I've worked in commercial settings, illustrating program guides for ASD assisting technology and other projects. My vocation has been busy and fulfilling, and I feel like I've only just begun. In addition to illustration, I am also a scriptwriter and the author of several ongoing series.
First and foremost, though, I consider myself a learner. I make mistakes every day, and I couldn't be happier for it. Nothing teaches me more than my mistakes, as long as I’m willing to learn from them.

Why Learn From Me?
I am deeply passionate about stories—it’s truly a lifelong love that I’ve honed from high school to college and beyond. As an active learner in life, I yearn to share what I discover with anyone willing to receive it.
I believe art education should be accessible and not prohibitively expensive, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue my passion. As I continue to explore and refine my own craft, I am committed to helping others find their artistic voice.

Course Title: Crafting Characters, Comic Pages, Concept Art, and Applications in Graphic Design
Objective:
-To develop students' skills in creating compelling characters.
-To teach techniques for effective visual storytelling, including cover illustration and comic pages.
-To explore the applicability of these skills in graphic design and wider media work.
-To adapt to the individual needs and levels of the students, from beginners to advanced.
Structure: Free-flowing, adaptable to each student's progress and interests (We’re here to learn and have fun)
Lesson Plan Sample:
Session 1: Course Overview and Introduction

Introduction to comic art and visual storytelling.
Review examples of different styles and genres in comic art.
Session 2: Basic Drawing Techniques
Introduction to basic drawing tools and materials.
