About Alexander
15 years experience across a variety of roles in industry including session work, film & TV post production, major label artist production / recording / mixing & re-mixing.
I am a musician and composer from London, UK. I was brought up in the city and had the rare and exciting privilege of attending St Paul’s Cathedral Choir School where I received some the very best musical tuition available. I studied cello, voice and music theory over six years. After continuing my music education at both the Portland Place school and the Saint Marylebone school, I then completed my undergraduate degree at University College London, UOL.
Since graduating I have worked in a number of roles across the music and film industries. I developed my technical skillset working in audio post production, working as a sound designer and trainee re-recording mixer.
Following that I spent two years touring across the world with a number of performing artists providing protools capture services for recording and later mixing live performances for release.
Since 2018, I have returned my focus to music and now offer original composition, arrangement and mixing services to both film makers and recording artists.
Projects completed include numerous short films (drama), two feature films, feature documentaries, dance and contemporary art pieces, TVC, new media commercial work and theatre productions.
I specialise in contemporary classical and electronic styles. My recordings utilise a hybrid approach, blending acoustic recordings and traditional musical techniques with cutting edge digital tools and synthesis.
Film & TV composition clients include BBC, NETFLIX, ITV, NHK, SKY, Channel 4, ARTE, CANAL+
Record label clients include Universal, SONY ATV, Because, Cooking Vinyl, Silent Mode, Sounds Like, Polydor & MfMi
