About Snigdha
I am a dedicated dancer currently at the 7th Year (Kala Ratna) level, with over ten years of training in Kathak. My journey has given me a deep understanding of the discipline, grace, and rhythm required for this beautiful art form. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge because I want to help others experience the joy of storytelling through movement. I believe that traditional dance should be accessible to everyone, and I find great fulfillment in seeing my students gain confidence as they master complex Chakkars or perform a graceful semi-classical routine.

In my classes, I prioritize a strong base by focusing on the elements of Kathak, including Tatkar, Chakkars, Hastaks, and Mudras. I believe in a patient, step-by-step teaching method that ensures your posture and technique are precise, making complex classical movements feel natural and effortless for any beginner learner.
Beyond technical training, I specialize in custom song choreography. I can choreograph any song of your choice in a Kathak or Semi-Classical style, perfectly blending traditional grace with modern music. Whether it is for a wedding, a stage performance, or social media, I tailor the movements to your skill level to ensure you look confident and expressive. We will work together to bring your vision to life through beautiful, rhythmic storytelling
