About Ryan
Hi there!
My name is Ryan, I'm 27 and currently work full time as a Mechanical Engineer with the UK Atomic Energy Authority in Oxfordshire. I graduated from Newcastle University with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with Renewable Energy.
I wouldn't be where I am today without tutoring, I received tutoring for my GCSEs and A-Levels. This extra help gave me the boost in confidence I needed to get the grades to go to university and do the degree I had my heart set on. I'd like to pass if forward and help kids who are struggling with STEM subjects to achieve their true potential at school and give them the best possible start for their future!

My tutoring focuses on patience and understanding. As a struggling GCSE student myself I found that a tutor who can really take the time to understand your situation and not get frustrated is key to successful development.
My lessons will usually last an hour but if a student is struggling with a particular issue I can be flexible.
Although I am new to online tutoring I have had experience teaching in-person with younger students, mainly 11+ students.
However, I am able and keen to teach up to GCSE level and students between the ages of 10-16.
