About Marissa
I trained at the Royal Northern College of Music for 7 years until I was 18 where I gained both of my Diplomas. I then went on to study at Queen Mary University and after this I trained for my Masters in Musical Theatre at Mountview. I have since then started my own theatre company and have been working in the industry as a performer and writer/composer. Throughout all of this, I have been teaching. I love to work with people at all stages in their music careers.
I have taught privately for over a decade to pupils of all levels. Over the last 5 years I have mainly been working with professionals preparing them for auditions and shows and also lecturing in universities. I am now looking forward to teaching people at all stages in their learning.

I am very flexible in how I work. Whatever you feel you want to learn or need, I can adjust to your needs. If you wish to work on grades, do it just for fun, learn a new skill, prepare for auditions, get over stage fright, improve vocal health... whatever you want to work on, I can adapt to you.
I would normally recommend 1hr length sessions but I am happy to provide 30 minute classes as well. I also provide group lessons if that is something that interests you.
I am happy to work with all ages. Despite having worked with adults for the last 5 years, I used to teach 3+ year olds with a company called Perform and I'm quite happy to teach young children.
