About Michael
Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I have been teaching guitar for over 25 years and have noticed a lot of changes in the industry. It is my goal to connect with students of all ages on a one on one level because in the end, music is a human endeavor and art form. Whether you study an instrument recreationally, as a form of self-therapy, or with the intent to get as good as you can, consistency of practice and lessons is key. No matter what the kids online tell you, there is no quick fix to get good fast. I believe everyone owes it to themselves to discover their creative potential and in so doing, maybe even heal oneself a little.

I approach teaching on an individual basis. Every student has unique needs and I try to cater to those with every person. I am flexible as far as scheduling and can teach 7 days a week. I enjoy teaching all styles of music and any skill level from beginner to advanced. Because music is not just an art form but a form of communication it is important to learn one on one in real time with a human rather than AI or video lessons which can not answer your questions. In addition, arbitrary self instruction leads to gaps in knowledge and bad habits.
