About Alexandra
I am a professional opera singer and have performed in many prestigious venues in the Uk and abroad. Alongside my busy performance schedule I also deliver piano and vocal lessons.
I teach from beginners to advanced for both instruments and I am very familiar with the ABRSM syllabus and preparing students for exams. I insist that all my students learn theory as this is the backbone of music and also helps to develop the students understanding of music as well as enabling them to sight read and play more accurately.
I cover all the basic principles of voice and spend a lot of time teaching students how to breathe for singing.
Twice a year I organise a concert for all my students to take part in as I think it is important to practice performing and learn how to control performance anxiety.
