About Valentina
With 13 years of teaching and professional experience, I am a dedicated Piano tutor who enjoys guiding students through every stage of their musical journey. I teach piano to school and college students and focus on making lessons enjoyable, clear, and motivating.
A key milestone in my career was developing lesson plans that allow students to learn at their own pace without feeling overwhelmed. This method has helped many students stay consistent, confident, and engaged with music.
My lessons include posture, finger exercises, hand coordination, rhythm, music reading, and musical expression. I also teach basic music theory to give students a deeper understanding of the music they play.
I believe piano education builds patience, focus, creativity, and self-confidence. Music encourages self-expression and helps students develop emotional balance, discipline, and a sense of achievement.
My teaching style is friendly, organised, and supportive. I guide students carefully, celebrate their progress, and inspire them to continue growing as confident musicians.

I emphasise communication, ensuring students clearly understand musical concepts, hand techniques, rhythm, and theory, and can apply them effectively in practice and performance. Lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style, creating an interactive, engaging, and effective learning experience.
I use real-life examples and case studies, such as performing favourite songs, exploring classical works, and demonstrating music’s applications in films and everyday life. Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, composition, and performance preparation, providing a complete musical foundation. My methodology fosters technical skill, creativity, performance confidence, and a lifelong passion for music, helping students grow into confident, expressive, and skilled pianists.
