Personal Summary
I am a dedicated and professional practitioner, who strives to get the best from each individual in my class. I successfully and confidently deliver the Curriculum for Excellence, English National Curriculum and Cambridge Curriculum, by continually planning and delivering stimulating and motivating learning experiences. I am now looking to secure a position as a class teacher where I can continue to demonstrate excellent practice and develop further as a diverse practitioner.

I have always prided myself on empowering pupils to take responsibility of their own learning and therefore agree with the schools ethos of creating independent learners. I am also committed to facilitating inspiring learning experiences making use of a number of different teaching environments and resources. I have significant experience using IT as part of my teaching practice and I particularly enjoy using a number of different Ipad aps to aid learning .
I also have a significant amount of varied experiences working out with the school setting as a care counsellor, at a specialist summer camp, and as a support worker for young adults with special needs. My knowledge and understanding of additional support needs is vast. I have experience supporting children with dyslexia, autism, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
