About Katya
Katya is a professional pianist graduated with honors in Fine Arts and piano performance. Trained in Russia, She farther advanced and completed her piano studies in Cape Town, South Africa, with the reknown pianist Graham Fitch. Excelling in classical piano skills, Katya won several piano competitions in Russia, and was involved in many piano performances and concerts in Russia, South Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Katya loves to share her piano knowledge through teaching, and have extensive experience teaching piano and vocal to students of all ages, and all levels. She likes to personalize her lesson linked to her students’ musical interests and needs, and to share her passion of music in a positive and dynamic way.

Lessons are personalized and adjusted to individual student's level. Classical Russian Piano teaching method is used with Katya's own modifications and improvements. Big emphasis is made on teaching expressive part of music, in addition to technical part, correct hand position and technique, notes reading and theory.
