About Jacob
I'm a guitarist and bass player with a professional background in music production, gigging, and recording. I work with artists and songwriters across the North West as well as London.
I have a background in teaching students ages 4-50+ at various private music schools across Liverpool, and have a valid DBS certificate. Across all ages, I love to tap into what makes a student excited to listen to music, and help them bridge the gap into building their own personal music-making life.

I help to build strong foundations in skills that directly translate into the real world of collaboration and professionalism. I typically teach half-hour lessons. My focus is on blending these regular lessons with self-driven practice time during the week.
We may then decide to explore learning a syllabus, such as RockSchool, and aim towards a grade exam.
For kids: Engaging and fun lessons with a focus on balancing instrument fundamentals with a developing passion for music
For beginners: The tips and direction to get playing your favourite songs as quickly as possible.
For intermediates: The foundations of music theory, repertoire, and skills required in collaborative and professional music settings
For advanced: Further support developing your unique style, taste and professional skills as a musician
