Professional rock and roll trombone player and community music educator who enjoys making music and learning with others!

I’ve been learning from mike for about 10 years now. Every time we get together I learn a new trick In musicality or trombone playing. He’s always full of advice and is a really sharp guy. Can certainly teach beginners-professionals!

Mike is an amazing musician and teacher and super knowledgable. He is patient and takes time to really know his students. He developed a plan of learning that fit my exact needs, learning style and schedule. Highly recommend!

Mike has really helped me over the years playing with him. He has not only a solid foundation in the physical mechanics of playing trombone, but also has a highly tuned ear. He has personally helped me with my own intonation, focusing on playing music as a "whole phrase" rather than a collection of separate parts, and following musical interpretations.
