About Zachary
With 19+ years of professional experience as a Saxophone tutor, I have worked with approximately 150 students and helped them achieve meaningful musical progress. I teach students of all levels and enjoy supporting them throughout their musical journey.
My tutoring style is structured, patient, and flexible. I create lesson plans that suit each student’s pace and musical interests while ensuring consistent development. I believe learning music should feel encouraging rather than overwhelming.
I focus on building strong saxophone fundamentals, including proper breathing, embouchure control, tone production, finger technique, and rhythm training. As students improve, I introduce expressive techniques such as dynamics, phrasing, and improvisation.
Along with instrument training, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, and rhythm studies. My aim is to help students become confident, expressive saxophone players who enjoy making music.

I motivate students by recognizing their efforts and guiding them toward measurable progress.
Communication is always clear and encouraging, ensuring a comfortable learning atmosphere. Integrity is reflected in my commitment to quality teaching, punctuality, and honest performance evaluation.
Creativity is nurtured through improvisation, dynamic variations, and exploring multiple music genres. Besides saxophone, I provide instruction in music theory, sight reading, and rhythm exercises to build well-rounded musicians.
