About Pawan Kumar
Pawan Kumar Mishra is a Mumbai-based screenwriter and creative director with 10+ years of experience across web-series, advertising, audio storytelling and branded content. He has previously taught screenwriting with ace edutech platform: FrontRow
Originally from Varanasi, his storytelling style is deeply rooted in Indian culture, emotions and grounded human experiences. Over the years, he has worked across comedy, mythology, slice-of-life dramas and audio fiction.
Pawan began his writing journey with The Viral Fever (TVF), where he contributed to multiple sketches and was part of the writers’ room for The Aam Aadmi Family, one of India’s earliest and most loved family comedy web-series. Since then, he has worked with platforms like Amazon MX Player and Spotify, contributing to several original shows including Bhaskar Bose and I Hear You.
He has also worked extensively in creative direction and branded storytelling for digital platforms and campaigns.
Recently, Pawan’s screenplay “Naach” was selected at the prestigious Cininfo Screenwriters Lab 2025 under the mentorship of acclaimed filmmakers Vijay Krishna Acharya and Nikkhil Advani. The feature film is currently in development and slated for production.
Apart from teaching writing craft, Pawan focuses strongly on helping students discover emotionally honest storytelling, rooted characters and stronger narrative instincts.

This is not a theoretical creative writing class. The sessions are designed for aspiring screenwriters, creators, filmmakers, podcasters, YouTubers and storytellers who want to learn how stories actually work in today’s content space.
The classes focus on practical storytelling through films, ads, scenes, podcasts and real writing exercises.
Areas covered include:

• Story structure for films and web-series
• Comedy and emotional storytelling
