About Wes
Growing up, I struggled with dyslexia, but was never discovered to have it until I was 18. Despite that, I graduated high school top five in my class and went on to have the same success in college.
Now, I get paid to write movie scripts for production companies. Why do I want to tutor? Because I enjoy teaching and helping the next generation of writers discover their voice. As a kid, I had to come up with ways to improve my writing on my own, but now I can help others avoid the pitfalls I underwent.

I get paid to write, but I have a strong passion for working with younger people on honing their voice and developing a style within their writing.
As both a screenwriter, with a background in political science studies, I am able to think both creatively and in a more professional voice.
I believe in positive reinforcement and trying to get my students to figure out their own mistakes first, before I help them. These days, many students are given the answers online without thinking through anything, but this leaves them without many critical thinking skills they will need in today's job market.
My lessons are for those of all levels, including middle, high school, and college students for both screenwriting and essay writing. They deal with studying and understanding professional writing samples, along with working on the student's specific problems.
