About Abigail
I am a professional singing teacher with 6 years of experience teaching vocal technique and improvisation. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a focus on Lieder and Art Song. This background supports healthy and expressive singing. My focus is jazz and blues vocal improvisation. I help singers feel confident creating music in real time. Scat singing is taught patiently and clearly. Students learn how to build melodic ideas. Melodic embellishment is explored through guided practice. I teach how to add expression with control. Advanced harmony is introduced gradually. Theory is always connected to sound. Ear training is central to my lessons. Students learn to hear harmony clearly.
