About Jason
With 19 years of professional experience, I am a committed Piano tutor who has successfully taught around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. I believe piano learning should be clear, enjoyable, and well-guided. My tutoring approach is student-focused and progressive. I assess each learner’s strengths and challenges before designing lesson plans.
Beginners start with posture, rhythm, hand coordination, and reading music. Intermediate students work on scales, chords, and finger independence. Advanced students refine expression, dynamics, and performance confidence. I place strong emphasis on understanding music, not just memorizing pieces.
Music theory, sight-reading, and ear training are part of regular lessons. I also guide students on developing effective practice routines. One of my strengths is creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to improve. My goal is to help students develop discipline, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for piano music.

My approach to teaching Piano focuses on Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity. I aim to make piano lessons engaging, structured, and encouraging for students of all levels. Each student’s learning needs are respected.
Lessons begin with core piano skills such as posture, finger placement, rhythm control, and reading music. These skills are practiced using exercises and suitable pieces. As students improve, I introduce scales, chords, sight-reading, and expressive techniques. Flexibility allows lessons to be adjusted according to progress.
Collaboration helps students feel involved in their learning. I encourage open communication and welcome questions during lessons. Students help select learning material, which builds motivation and confidence. Practice guidance is provided to support steady improvement.
Positivity defines my teaching environment. I motivate students with patience and constructive feedback. Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. In addition to piano, I teach music theory basics, rhythm skills, ear training, and musical understanding. My goal is to help students enjoy piano and develop strong skills.
