About Madeleine
I am Maddi, a professional guitarist and guitar teacher based in Lancashire, North West England. I have played guitar for 13+ years, having taken 7 years of professional guitar tuition from an incredible death metal guitarist from my hometown.
I have since been fortunate enough to spend the last three years consistently playing live, everything from punk covers bands to the world’s number one tribute to The Cramps, playing across the UK and the US in 2023.
I currently play in four of the biggest tribute bands in the UK: Korn Again, Spouky Kids, Nine Inch Nails UK and Deaftones, tributes to Korn, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails and Deaftones respectively. We tour the UK and Europe extensively throughout the year and are touring the US in October 2025.
I am a particularly vocal and proud supporter of young female guitarists at any level, whether you have just picked up a guitar or have been learning or playing for years. I hope to show that with hard work and self-belief that you can achieve whatever you want: being a young female guitarist in heavy metal which is a particularly male-dominated field is an anomaly, sure, but over time I am seeing it pick up as more of us are seeing our peers succeed. This is the kind of attitude I hope to instil in more young girls and women who want to learn to play and pursue it as a career.
Please note: because of my touring/gig schedule, I may sometimes have to rearrange lessons from a regular slot, however I will always discuss this in advance with students and make sure it works for us both :)

I teach for an hour by request. My lessons are 45 mins long as I truly believe this is the best amount of time for max. productivity and attention span for us both :)
However if you would like an hour lesson for any reason please contact me and this can be discussed!
