About Julie
As a young student I struggled with math. I got additional help from a tutor and I became one of the children who would raise my hand when my teacher asked for answers. I’ve found that developing self confidence in one’s math skills earlier has a profoundly positive impact on grasping the tougher math concepts that a student will encounter in middle school and beyond.

When you allow me to work with your child, you will see results. I assist students needing help with their daily homework, as well as those just wishing to feel more confident in mathematics. I create worksheets and other study tools tailored to focus upon the precise area of math your child is struggling with. I use colorful objects to aid in the teaching of addition and subtraction, as it’s been proven children are able to grasp early math concepts more quickly through the use of tangible objects.
