About Kevin
I'm not an individual who walked straight out of college, into a teaching job, and never stepped out of the classroom. That's not an insult to people who teach professionally. On the contrary, I quite admire them, and their ability to grow in their careers for decades at a time. But, I have some well-rounded experience. I've experienced both successes and failures. I understand the value of learning practical and applicable skills. My number one goal will always be the further development of my students. Students should take lessons with me, because I prefer a multimedia approach to teaching. I grew up with an analog skill set. But, I fully comprehend just how much the use of digital means can unlock a student's potential. Once I learned to type as a child, my ability to write in a compelling and detailed manner compounded tenfold. I believe, taking the same type of approach with children, has the potential to help them grow in a similar manner. No matter what the medium is, you can be rest assured that my lessons will always be goal and objective based. I don't believe in wasting time with busy work. We'll cut straight to the chase. It's your time and money. It must be spent in a constructive manner.
