About Edward
I have a postgraduate teaching qualification from London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and I have performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Brandenburg Sinfonia and many other orchestras. I have been playing professionally for ten years. I have also worked with groups in primary and secondary schools, creating music for performance. I have an up to date DBS certificate.
I speak basic modern Greek and have learned and performed many traditional Greek tunes for the violin, so I am happy to share this knowledge with students.

I work with students on technique and practice strategies, with a view to making practice fun and productive, focused on all aspects of music making and communicating with the listener. As a regular performer I know the ups and downs of playing in front of an audience and I believe that everyone can enjoy doing this. Music should be a joyful process!

Perfect! Edward is a friendly bloke who makes you feel at ease. In just a few lessons I feel much more confident. His lessons are tailored to you as an individual and therefore great fun and highly informative. An excellent violinist and teacher. Would highly recommend.
