About Liana
For more context about my other writing background, I have been published in 60+ publications and am very comfortable with collaboration for long-term projects. Not only has my work been praised by the New Yorker, but I also received a YoungArt grant and interview requests from news outlets and podcasts for my novel, “Stuck in Her Head," which came out in 8+ countries. We also won 5 book awards, including a gold medal at the Independent Publisher Book Competition, with over 5,000 candidates in 2017 alone. If you want more information, the website for my novel is (concealed information) I've also been invited as a university guest lecturer, where I'm doing a research paper under my professor. I have been invited to Vancouver, where accommodations were provided, and have been accepted to a Paris workshop.
I'm also writing a paid long-running comic series, a picture book (have experience working with artists), and a graphic novel adaptation of our book for Comicker Press. I am also a paid comic book editor for an undisclosed project. I've also written a paid video game proposal.
In terms of screenwriting experience, I'm an assistant screenwriter and marketing advisor for “The Blessing,” an upcoming 2025 feature film for Allwhat’s film company, which has distributed multiple films on Amazon Prime. I was a reader for the Vali Film Festival, an independent film festival that has taken place in Colorado since 2004, further honing my skills in basic story development. Lastly, I'm a screenwriter for a heartwarming coming-of-age film, "51 & Me," from Twisted South Originals. I'm also writing three more feature film scripts for the company this year. I've also conducted business with people from China (talked in Mandarin), where I'm writing a TV series for two companies. I also worked with a co-producer, and we worked on a $120K budget TV show for FlexTV (vertical reels) as a script consulter. I've also earned three figures USD for working on a scene (8 pages) for Jimmy's Long March. I'm also staffed as a writer for an animated pilot (Guardian X) coming out this year.
