About Wei
I graduated from National Taiwan Normal University with a degree in Piano Performance. Throughout my early career, I’ve remained active as a performer, playing in various concerts and providing accompaniment, all while staying deeply committed to teaching. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I tailor every lesson to suit each student’s individual pace, needs, and goals. I believe that music is a language — a powerful form of communication that expresses what words often cannot. In today’s AI-driven world, learning an instrument is no longer just about mastering technique. It’s about cultivating the mind, nurturing the soul, and developing inner discipline. With over 20 years of experience as a professionally trained music educator, I offer piano lessons that are structured, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s pace and personality. I believe in balancing strong technical foundation with musical expression, so students not only play well — they play with heart.
My teaching approach includes:
• Emphasis on proper technique, sight-reading, and ear training
• Step-by-step progression with patient guidance
• Integration of theory and musicality from early stages
• Positive reinforcement to build confidence and enjoyment
Lessons typically last 45 to 60 minutes, and I welcome students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners preparing for exams or recitals.
Many of my students have taken graded exams such as ABRSM, and consistently achieve Merit or above, thanks to a solid foundation and well-rounded preparation.
Whether you’re learning for leisure or aiming for graded exams, I’m here to guide your musical journey with kindness, professionalism, and care.
