About Suzanne
I hold a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute. I have shown my work in New York City, nationally and internationally. I currently live and have a studio in Plainfield NJ and am a tenured professor at Caldwell University. I taught for over seventeen years in the division of Art, Media and Technology.

I teach rigorous courses and lessons that prepare students to apply to top programs across the country. I have experience teaching in Parsons School of Design Pre-College Academy and over twenty years of experience teaching painting, drawing, 2D Design and Color Theory at Parsons and at a small liberal arts college where I serve as a tenured associate professor. I teach mostly observational painting and drawing but also teach conceptual development and help senior college students to create their own individual unique bodies of work. I am able to help students develop their work so their portfolios are college application-ready.
