About Tiana
I'm a lecturer at Spelman College, a premier women's liberal arts college and the leading historically black college in the United States for the past seventeen years. I teach in the college's entrepreneurship program, which is within the economics department. I earned a BA with high honors from Morehouse College, where I was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's most prestigious academic honor for undergraduate students. I completed significant coursework in the English department. While in school, I worked as a freelance reporter for several national news publications covering local, business, and entertainment news. I'm an especially adept copyeditor.

I typically ask my students to send me a draft of their work and based on that draft, I am able to advise them on how they might improve it. Generally, my notes help to improve readability, structuring, and fact-telling. My primary objective is to deliver superior outcomes for my students.
