About KATHRYN
I have an M.A. in creative writing and a Ph.D. in English language and literature from a Big Ten American university. I've taught business writing (including resume writing), college composition, creative writing, and literature for many years at diverse institutions, and given presentations at prestigious institutions including Brown University (an Ivy League college in the U.S.) and the renowned Oxford University in the United Kingdom. Having been teaching and tutoring online for more than a decade, I'm very comfortable with the remote learning process.

I make learning fun for students by using as meany pop-culture references and real-life situations as I can. I base my approach on encouragement and positivity, while suggesting areas for improvement. Learning sessions are tailored to each student's unique needs, challenges, and goals. My lessons are best for ages 12 through adult. I look forward to teaching or tutoring you!
