About Koni
I am a dedicated Violin tutor with 8 years of teaching experience, having successfully trained around 150 students from beginner to advanced levels. My approach focuses on building a strong technical foundation while nurturing confidence and creativity.
I begin with essential skills such as posture correction, bow control, finger placement, tone clarity, and rhythm stability to ensure students develop proper playing habits from the start.
As they progress, I introduce scales, shifting techniques, dynamic expression, and performance preparation. I carefully adapt my lessons to each student’s pace and goals, ensuring consistent and measurable growth. I also provide structured practice guidance to help students improve effectively between sessions.
My unique strength lies in my patient and encouraging teaching style, which helps learners overcome challenges and stay motivated. My goal is to develop disciplined, expressive, and confident violinists who enjoy their musical journey.

My violin teaching approach is based on strong communication and understanding the individual learning style of each student. I believe that when students clearly understand the purpose of each lesson, they become more confident and motivated. I begin by assessing their level, strengths, and goals. Then I adapt my teaching style to match how they learn best, whether through listening, visual demonstration, written guidance, or repeated practice.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow hold, finger placement, tone quality, rhythm stability, and intonation accuracy. After strengthening the basics, I introduce advanced techniques like vibrato, shifting, articulation, and dynamic control.
Along with violin performance, I teach music theory, scales and arpeggios, sight reading, ear training, harmony basics, and music appreciation. I use real-life examples such as recital preparation, competition readiness, orchestra rehearsals, and exam case studies to make learning practical and meaningful. My goal is to develop confident, expressive, and disciplined musicians.
