About Selene
My journey in programming began with an excitement for understanding how technology shapes ideas into reality. Over eight years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching students who range from absolute beginners to aspiring developers. I focus on making coding approachable by breaking concepts into clear, manageable parts and guiding learners through practical application. I bring patience, clarity, and encouragement into every lesson. My teaching style emphasises logical thinking, structured practice, and real-world application. Students learn not only how to code but also how to approach problems methodically and creatively. I support each learner according to their pace, ensuring they develop both confidence and independence. Outside teaching, I work on personal coding projects and stay updated on emerging technologies to keep my lessons current and relevant. Programming, for me, is a blend of logic and creativity, and helping students discover their capabilities through coding continues to inspire my teaching journey.

My computer programming lessons focus on helping students understand the logic behind coding while developing practical skills they can apply immediately. Beginners learn basic syntax, programming logic, variables, loops, and conditionals through simple tasks. Intermediate students move into functions, arrays, object-oriented concepts, and structured problem-solving. Advanced learners explore data structures, algorithms, debugging strategies, and project-based application. Assignments include coding challenges, logic-building exercises, and small projects that encourage independent creativity. Programming lessons aim to develop confident coders who can think logically, write clean code, and solve problems efficiently. Students not only strengthen their academic performance but also prepare for future opportunities in technology, computer science, and digital innovation.
