About Peyton
My passion for programming began with exploring how small pieces of logic could create functional applications, sparking a fascination with coding and problem-solving. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Computer Science, where I gained comprehensive knowledge in programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles. Over 10 years, I have taught students from absolute beginners to advanced learners, helping them develop analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and technical competence. I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and adaptability. I focus on understanding each learner’s pace, style, and goals, providing tailored explanations, step-by-step guidance, and practical exercises. My lessons often combine visual aids, real-world examples, and hands-on projects to make abstract programming concepts tangible and engaging. Encouraging independent exploration and experimentation is central to my teaching philosophy, helping students gain confidence and self-reliance in coding. Outside the classroom, I actively explore emerging technologies, software development practices, and new programming frameworks. Incorporating these insights into lessons allows me to keep content current, relevant, and applicable to real-world scenarios. Seeing students evolve from hesitant beginners to confident coders, capable of tackling complex problems independently, is the most fulfilling aspect of my work and motivates me to continue teaching with passion.
