About Yousef
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from the University of Sharjah (CGPA 3.78) and a Master’s from the American University of Sharjah (CGPA 3.63), where I am completing my thesis on solar energy systems.
I started teaching in my second year of university and never stopped. Over four years I worked as an official Teaching Assistant at both universities, running laboratory sessions and tutorials in mathematics, mechanics, manufacturing and HVAC for around 60 students each semester.
I teach because I remember being the student who understood nothing until one person explained it differently. Watching that moment happen for someone else is the most satisfying part of the work, and it is why I kept teaching alongside my degree rather than treating it as a side job.

I spent four years as a university Teaching Assistant at the American University of Sharjah and the University of Sharjah, running laboratory and tutorial sessions for around 60 students each semester in engineering, physics and mathematics.
My approach is to find where the understanding actually broke down rather than repeating the lecture. Most students are not weak at the subject — they are missing one earlier concept that makes everything after it confusing. I start by asking you to explain the problem back to me, so I can see exactly where the gap is, then we rebuild from there with worked examples until you can solve it without me.
I teach in both Arabic and English and switch freely between them, which helps when a concept is clear in one language but not the other.
I cover school and university level mathematics and physics, and university engineering subjects including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Statics, Strength of Materials, and CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
