About James
I am a dedicated educator, having formerly served as Professor of Teacher Education at Cal State East Bay. With a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota, my work centered on supporting multicultural inner-city classrooms in the Bay Area of California. I held roles as a coordinator for multiple and single-subject student teaching programs and as a College of Education coordinator for Quality Matters, focusing on transitioning to hybrid and online instruction. I began the first online single subject teaching credential program in the California State University system.
