About the lesson

My Approach to Teaching MSc Psychology
My teaching approach is student-centred, supportive, and evidence-based, with a focus on helping university-level students develop a strong understanding of psychological theories, research methods, and their practical applications. I adapt each lesson to the student's individual learning needs, academic goals, and areas for improvement.

Teaching techniques and methodology: I use clear explanations, real-world examples, research studies, guided discussions, and interactive activities to make complex psychological concepts easier to understand. I also support students with critical thinking, academic writing, research methodology, and exam preparation. My aim is to build confidence, encourage independent learning, and develop the analytical skills required for postgraduate study.

Lesson duration: Lessons typically last 50 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged depending on the student's needs and learning objectives.

Qualifications and experience: My teaching is informed by my Master Degree in psychology and many years of experience working with clients as a Counsellor/Psychologist and my understanding of postgraduate-level academic expectations. I aim to provide structured, engaging, and academically focused support tailored to each student's progress.

Who my lessons are for: My lessons are designed primarily for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology students, including MSc students, as well as adult learners seeking to strengthen their knowledge of psychology and counselling. Whether you need help understanding complex theories, improving assignments, interpreting research, or preparing for assessments, I aim to provide personalised guidance to help you achieve your academic goals.
