About Nura
Hi fellow future students, my name is Nura Lockman, and I am excited to be your English language tutor, focusing specifically on college-level essay writing. I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from Murdoch University, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree. My academic journey has given me a deep understanding of human behavior, learning processes, and effective communication techniques, all of which I incorporate into my teaching.
Over the past six months, I have worked as a peer tutor at Murdoch University, where I helped students improve their writing skills and achieve academic success. This experience has equipped me with the skills and insights needed to guide you in mastering essay writing.
Our lessons will be held twice a week, each lasting for 2 hours, totaling 8 hours of instruction per week. This schedule allows us to have intensive, focused sessions that cover both theory and practice, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of essay writing.
I look forward to working with you and helping you become a confident and skilled writer. Together, we will unlock your potential and pave the way for your academic success :D

- My techniques will be firstly engaging with the students in discussions about essay topics, structures, and arguments to stimulate critical thinking before providing hands-on writing tasks to practice and offer detailed and constructive feedback on the student's essays.
- Each lesson is designed to be 2 hours long with a total of 8 instructions per week.
- I hold a Bachelor of Psychology from Murdoch University, Western Australia, and currently pursuing my Masters. My academic background has equipped me with a deep understanding of human behavior, learning processes, and effective communication techniques. Additionally, I have six months of experience as a peer tutor at Murdoch University, where I successfully assisted fellow students in improving their writing skills and academic performance.
