About Sobiah

Hi! I’m Sobiah, a psychology graduate with experience working as a SEN teaching assistant supporting children and young people aged 7–16. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in themselves and their learning in a supportive and encouraging environment.

I have experience supporting different learning needs and understand that every student learns differently. I aim to make lessons engaging, patient and tailored to each individual student’s goals and abilities.

Alongside my studies, I have developed strong communication, organisation and mentoring skills through my work in education and volunteering roles. I’m currently offering support in GCSE Psychology, English Language and general study skills.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

I can help with GCSE Psychology, English Literature/Language and general study skills, including revision techniques, essay structure and exam preparation. My experience working in a SEND primary school has helped me develop patience, adaptability and strategies to support different learning needs.

Lessons will focus on understanding content clearly, improving confidence and helping students achieve their personal goals at a pace that works for them.
