About Amber
Are you looking for your own personal educational hype person? Someone who motivates and supports you every step of the way? Then I am right for you!
I am a 4th-year Psychology student passionate about young people and supporting optimal development. With a resume displaying 7 years of customer service experience, two youth-based programs (mentoring and youth intervention), and two student-focused work experience endeavors I am more than passionate about helping people reach their greatest potential.
I welcome all ages and learning abilities to come and work with me, I am sure we will make a great team :)

- Teaching, learning, feedback, and assessment are important to me as a tutor. In addition, I believe that providing students with general support and guidance is imperative. I also highly value keeping track of student's progress to appropriately evaluate the impact of our dynamic and ensure development.
- The typical length of a lesson ranges from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the preferences and needs of the student.
- I have mentoring experience with a local school, where I conducted one-on-one sessions with students. I would provide support, guidance, homework help, and assessment assistance. I also have 104 hours of experience with a youth intervention program where I purposefully built rapport with people aged 13-17 in aim of helping change their lives for the better. In addition, I have valuable experience with counsellors, teachers, psychologists, and police.
- Lessons are predominantly for ages 10-17, however, I am open to all ages and learning abilities!
