About Tanya
I hold degrees in human services, and psychology. I earned my BA from Pacific Lutheran University and my Master's from Northcentral University. I specialize in adolescence and gender diversity but am knowledgeable in all areas.
I am a total dork so I love teaching Psych 101 and watching students who were dreading it get excited about what they're learning.
I have spent over seven years teaching at the community college level in Western Washington. Subjects include psychology, counseling, college success, history, human services, statistics and family systems.

Are you tired of late-night cramming? Need a better approach to learning new material and preparing for exams?
If you answered yes then I am the tutor you have been looking for! I have successfully worked with hundreds of students and helped them to succeed with their educational goals. My experience is primarily AP, IB, college and post-grad students but I am open to working with students at any level.
When you work with me you will not only get a better grasp on current curriculum, but also tools that will help you be a better and more productive student. I work with all learning styles and IEPs I am confident that I can help you gain a better understanding of material.
I am well versed in all aspects of psychology, from Psych 101 to higher level specializations. I work especially well with non traditional students (military, returning, parents)
