About Avi
I’m a rising senior majoring in Psychology on the pre-med track, with plans to attend medical school in Fall 2027. I have 2.5 years of experience working as a tutor at a learning center, where I helped students strengthen academic skills, improve confidence, and develop effective study habits.
I enjoy making learning engaging, supportive, and personalized to each student’s needs. I tutor middle school and high school students in math, biology, chemistry, psychology, and college readiness, focusing on building both understanding and confidence. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

My tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and engaging. I focus on helping students build confidence and truly understand concepts through clear step-by-step explanations, practice problems, and interactive learning techniques tailored to their individual needs.
A typical lesson includes reviewing questions from previous homework, quizzes, or exams, identifying areas of difficulty, breaking down key concepts, developing problem-solving strategies, and reinforcing learning with guided practice questions.
What sets me apart is my 2.5 years of experience tutoring at a learning center combined with my background as a Psychology pre-med student. I work with middle school and high school students in math, biology, chemistry, psychology, and college readiness.
