About Meg
I am studying Psychology at the University of Lincoln, but from York originally. I have previously been a peer mentor for lower school students when in sixth form and have younger siblings at home I help regularly with all GCSE subjects. My particular favourites to offer support with are Psychology, English, Religious studies and Geography.
At GCSE I was graded 4 A’s, 7 Bs and 1 C.
At A-level I was graded B in Psychology and Religion, Philsophy and Ethics, C in General Studies and D in Biology.

My method of teaching is working on what challenges each individual most in their subject of choice. Starting at the biggest challenge, teaching it again can help gain a deeper understanding.
When comfortable with each topic of a module or subject, together we will reduce the information down into key bullet points that are easy to understand. This can be done on cue cards, spider diagrams or posters depending on the individual’s preference in learning.
The next method is learning these key parts of information, this can be done in many ways. I personally like to write the information out on a blank piece of paper without any cues if you can, referring to your books if needed. Gradually building on the information known, until comfortable with the information.
GCSE’s are tough and there is a vast amount of information to remember for each subject so this methodology is great if you can regularly revise.
Once comfortable with the key information from the whole module/subject past exam papers are best to complete and mark. Practice makes perfect!
