About Kayleigh
I am new to giving lessons myself, but spent a lot of time during my A Level years helping students between 11-16 in English language and literature. I attained B grades in both of these at A Level, and have years of experience with the field.

I teach GCSE level English (language and literature). My teaching techniques revolve around allowing a student to read a set amount of a text, before asking questions that can allow for a broader understanding and more in-depth analysis. I believe that, as long as a student can back up their opinion with something from the text, they are always correct, as meaning in literature can be subjective. I allow a discussion between the student and I, and encourage the student to come up with their own theories, not just listen to what I tell them.
