About Jodie
I am currently teaching psychology and counselling at level 3 as part of my teacher training. I will be graduating from UCL IoE in August with a PGCE. I have exceeded the mandatory hours of teaching practice to achieve this qualification and quickly adjusted to teaching. I have successfully helped diverse learners achieve goals using varied methods to suit the individual learning style.

My approach to teaching incorporates both planning and flexibility. I will plan lessons and provide resources, but I will continually adjust methods based on the progression of the learner. More generally, I understand that efficient learning is most prevalent when the content is interesting and meaningful/useful to the learner. I approach this by using interactive measures, interesting case studies and allowing the learner some control over the 'curriculum'. All the while, prioritizing transferable skills for exams, essays and research.
