About Liza
I want to help students especially in my subject areas as I found it difficult to find the help that I needed and in the specific aspects needed especially exam preparation. I want learning to be fun and exciting and to for students to gain the confidence in knowledge and be able to be bold with your goals. I do not want students to be scared to ask questions and feel limited because they do not feel confident enough or feel like they are limited to succeed because their inability to obtain knowledge.

I combine teaching with a coaching approach so the student can feel confident in their ability in their knowledge. This includes a warm-up on an exercise they have not come across or have come across or not often. Then moving on to how this exercise is approached and teaching the basics. At the end of the session the knowledge is tested with questions and with them being able to showcase what they have learnt in that session.
A typical lesson length would be from 1 hour to an hour an a half.
I have much experience with being tutored myself in these subjects and a first hand interaction with a tutor and observing their techniques. I have done Biology, English Literature and Psychology A levels as well as a AS chemistry qualification. I have much experience in doing coursework from GCSE to currently as a university student. I prefer incorporating a coaching approach as I was a voluntary GCSE science coach assisting students during their exam period.
My lessons are ideal for students aged 15-18. Especially in English literature and Biology as well as anyone who would like examination preparation advice for the subjects I have mentioned previously.
