I was almost entirely self-taught during my secondary school years due to severe health issues which meant that most of my school life was spent in and out of hospitals. As a result, I resorted to textbooks, flash cards, quick quizzes, mind mapping and lots of different types of note taking in order to make learning both fun and engaging for myself. In turn, I would love to help other pupils find the best methods for their learning as I know all kids work differently, but with lots of trial and error, we can all achieve the results we deserve!
Lesson Style:
- 20 minutes of teaching and notes/textbooks
- 5 minutes of flash card writing
- 20 minutes teaching/videos/questions
- 5 minutes flash cards
- 10 minutes questions and recap mind maps!
