About Tamia
I am a dually enrolled student taking both high school and college classes. I am a published author, I have received a near-perfect score on the English portion of the ACT and have experience tutoring children and teens. I am currently a Junior in High School taking AP English III.

I approach each topic by identifying what the student struggles most heavily with, and then address these concerns using whatever method best suits the student (ex: vocabulary-based lessons, auditory learning, practicing with multiple choice questions/flashcards, etc.) I allow students to have some control over their learning experience and try to explain things in terms that are easiest for them to comprehend.

My $10.00/hour rate is for students in pre-Kindergarten - 8th grade students. For 9th-12th grade students, I charge $15.00/hour.
