About Alice
I've always dreamt up fictional worlds and characters in my free time – daydreaming endlessly about putting pen to paper or fingers to keyboard to create something to escape into. Now, as the published author of The Lost Hourglass (Book 1 in The Moonlight, Amber and Time trilogy) I can safely say I create those worlds and characters for others to escape into. I love how inspiring a story is. I love the excitement, love and heartbreak of following a protagonist on their journey through life. I'll never stop writing or reading – and I hope with these lessons, I can enable you to do the same.
If I'm not writing (or planning your lessons!) you can find me running, playing guitar and hanging out with friends. Probably eating something, too.

My lessons are warm and full of laughter. I craft them to support the individual and stimulate imagination and intrigue. I pride myself on offering a personalised approach focusing on what each tutee wishes to take from my sessions. A preliminary free lesson identifies where and if their skills could use a polish, what their expectations are, and what they are most concerned with. I provide in depth feedback on creative writing work as well as corrections and suggestions on how to improve prose or readability. Essay structuring and coherence is a developed skill of mine, as is literary analysis.
