About Zoe
I have been teaching Shakespeare to students ages 8-18 for five years, and preparing high school students for college admission for 4. My students have gained admission to UPenn, Princeton, Barnard College, and more. I am also an editor at Archipelago books, and have worked at New York Review Books, Library of America, and Ugly Duckling Presse.

I base my lessons around a literary work, taking a deep dive into the text with my students. Together, we discover the author's techniques while I pose questions designed to provoke out of the box ideas from my students. When my students write their own essays or works of creative writing, I treat them with the same attention I would a manuscript of a book about to be published. With this level of personalized edits, my students soon advance leaps and bounds in their writing.
