Hello there! I'm Emmett Burns, a committed tutor with a Bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature. Lessons are tailored to each individual student, but generally a first session would involve going over goals, strengths, and weaknesses to identify the best course of action. I specialize in college application essay writing, essay writing, and poetry but also offer other services! First session (free of charge) is 30 minutes, all other sessions are 1.5hr+.

My pricing and cancellation policy is a rate that fairly compensates me for the time spent tutoring and all of the prep work + materials that go into it. Also, a no-show to a booked session will incur a charge of $25 + $10/hour booked after the first hour.
